Background
Stephanie’s unique resin jewellery traces its origins back to her days as a sculpture degree student. Fascinated by the effects of coloured light on form, she experimented in a darkroom with lasers and acrylics, producing large and exciting environmental sculptures.
As a post graduate Stage Design student at the Bristol Old Vic, Stephanie took inspiration from using coloured light and new materials in a magical, make-believe context. Over the years these ideas have gradually morphed into the wearable art which her resin jewellery is today.
Colour, theatricality and strong form remain the inspiration for new designs. Ideas can come from playing with new materials or even from travel. Stephanie strongly believes that the power of colour can be life enhancing and mood changing.
Her bold yet subtle work is often designed in colour collections and is definitely for those who love to be noticed! Workshop visitors are very welcome by appointment
