Maker of the Month - Jack Beaumont

Maker of the Month Jack Beaumont is inspired by myths and legends of north west Europe and he loves storytelling.  Jack comes from a line of matriarchal storytellers and has stood for several bardic chairs in the south-west. Jack’s work draws inspiration from myths, legends and his own stories describing himself as a narrative jeweller with his pieces being an extension of a story or part of a great tale, as if the wearer is an ancient hero or a person of power and influence.  Expect to meet wicked wolves, light-fingered hares, bears of seven stars and owls with wings of moonlight and darkness in Jack’s one-off pieces!

“Run, run towards the moon” are lines from a poem that Jack wrote many years ago, concerning love, the seasons and being together and apart.  It has lines inscribed on the reverse, the stones are moonstones set against a textured background stained black.
