Background 

Jill Pryke’s pots are all wheel-thrown in earthenware clay. She decorates them with coloured glazes in a soft green, blue or dove grey, then with sgraffito motifs, usually inspired by the natural world. Her pots are decorative, but intended for, and fit for practical use about the home.

As she can use calligraphy she can make a pot to commemorate a special event or anniversary.
