Background

Emma’s unique jewellery collections are inspired by the shimmering of light over water. Each hand-made piece captures the perpetual motion of the sea. Her eye-catching surfaces are hand-crafted in precious metals using specialist techniques and hand-made tools at her Devon workshop. Luxurious 24ct gold plated surfaces and her award winning ‘Liquid Sun’ brooch are inspired by dramatic sunsets at sea.

Each of Emma’s creations has a definitive nautical feel, with echoes of ships portholes, rolling waves and glistening pebbles. She loves to work with silver, gold and beautiful gemstones, striving to capture the spirit of the ocean in every piece.

Achievements

• Goldsmiths’ Craftmanship and Design Awards; Silver award winner for my ‘Liquid Sun’ brooch in 2010
• I have previously exhibited at Desire Jewellery and Silversmithing Fair at Winchester and RHS Wisley

Do you accept commissions? 

Yes, Emma welcomes commissions, repairs, re-creations and restorations. She especially enjoys making celebration pieces, for example engagement rings, anniversary gifts, wedding rings, family seal signet rings and many more.

Do you run workshops? 

Yes, Emma runs jewellery-making workshops at venues such as Make Southwest.
