Background

Liz Tapper graduated from the Royal School of Needlework’s hand embroidery apprenticeship in 1998. She has worked for several high profile clients, including the Royal Opera House, Lulu Guinness, Harrods and for television, as well as on numerous private commissions for new items and the conservation and restoration of antique textiles. Liz was accepted into the Society for Embroidered Work in 2019.

Liz owns The Art of the Needle and Lenham Needlecraft, selling embroidery and needlepoint supplies online and teaches a wide range of embroidery techniques.
