Andy Ryder, has been running a fine art foundry for about twenty years, first in Plymouth now in Yeovil.

Specializing in the lost wax/ceramic shell method. During lockdown and a reduction in commisions Andy who considers himself an artizan, is now creating his own artwork and casting it. As he says,' thus cutting out the middle man . . me' !

Like a lot of other makers, materials are becoming scarce, but with his operation being low tech it's always possible

To return to methods used hundreds of years ago. Andy is still taking commisions and has an 'adapt & overcome' attitude.
